Getting Started

Is it really free to start? +
Yes. Download the app, add up to 10 domains, set expiry reminders, and explore all core features at no cost. You only need to upgrade when you want unlimited domains, registrar sync, or lead outreach.
What platforms is DomainIgniter available on? +
DomainIgniter is available on iOS (15+) and Android (8+). Download it from the App Store or Google Play — just search "DomainIgniter".
Do I need a registrar account to use the app? +
No. You can add domains manually without connecting any registrar. Registrar sync is an optional Pro feature that saves you from entering domains one by one.
How do I add my first domain? +
Tap the "+" button on the portfolio screen, type or paste your domain name, and the app will auto-fill expiry date, registrar, and estimated value via RDAP. You can edit any field manually.

Registrar Sync

Which registrars are supported? +
Hostinger is fully supported today with one-tap import. GoDaddy, Namecheap, Porkbun, and Dynadot are in active development and coming soon. You can always add domains from any registrar manually.
How often does the sync run? +
The sync runs automatically in the background once per day. You can also trigger a manual sync at any time from the registrar settings screen.
Are my registrar credentials stored securely? +
Yes. Your API credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256 and are never exposed to third parties. We only request the minimum permissions needed to read your domain list.

Expiry Alerts & Notifications

When will I get expiry notifications? +
You receive push notifications 90, 30, 7, and 1 day before a domain expires by default. You can customize or disable the alert schedule per domain from the domain detail screen.
What if I miss an alert? +
All past alerts are saved in the Notifications tab so you can review them. We recommend enabling all four alert tiers so you always have a safety net.
Can I get alerts for domains I did not add via sync? +
Yes. Alerts work for every domain in your portfolio regardless of how it was added — synced, manual, or imported via CSV.

WhatsApp Outreach & Leads

How does WhatsApp outreach work? +
Import a CSV of buyer leads (name, phone, optional notes), validate the contacts, pick a message template, and send a personalized WhatsApp message to each lead with one tap. The app tracks who you've contacted and when.
Are message templates customizable? +
Yes. You can edit the built-in templates or create your own in English or Arabic. Templates support variables like {domain}, {price}, and {buyer_name} for personalization.
Does outreach require a WhatsApp Business account? +
No. The app opens WhatsApp with the message pre-filled so you send it through your regular WhatsApp account. No API keys or Business account required.

Billing & Subscription

What does Pro include? +
Pro unlocks unlimited domains, registrar sync, unlimited leads and WhatsApp outreach, advanced analytics (cost, ROI, TLD coverage), and priority support.
How do I upgrade to Pro? +
Tap "Upgrade" in the app settings or on any feature gate. Billing is handled by Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on your device.
Can I cancel my subscription? +
Yes, at any time through your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. You keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period — no partial refunds.
Is there a family or team plan? +
Not yet. DomainIgniter is currently a single-user subscription. Multi-seat plans are on the roadmap.

Language & Accessibility

Is Arabic fully supported? +
Yes. The entire app — interface, message templates, and push notifications — is available in both English and Arabic with full right-to-left layout support. Switch languages any time from Settings.
What other languages are coming? +
French and Turkish are planned for a future release. If you'd like to see your language added, let us know at support@domainigniter.com.

Privacy & Security

Is my data secure? +
All data is encrypted in transit over HTTPS and stored securely in the cloud. Registrar credentials are encrypted at rest. We never share or sell your personal data.
Where is my data stored? +
Your data is stored on servers located in the EU. We comply with GDPR and applicable data protection regulations.
Can I delete my account and data? +
Yes. Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, domains, and all associated data within 30 days.
